Prescriptive Nuisances

I will never understand people who think Oxycodone is fun. You can have it... all of it. I'm anxiously awaiting coming down from this pain management nightmare. I'd rather have the pain, thankyouverymuch.

In other news: Surgery went well. In addition to my torn medial meniscus, the good doctor discovered torn cartilage and arthritis (whatever that means... probably that I'm old) while he was poking around inside my knee.

Nodding off now.

Opiate drugs would not be my choice of a good time either, I hate that out of control floating feeling. Glad all went well. Hugs x

I prefer traditional cures.
If it doesn't gross you out too much, kissing it better is nice.
Here's one for your knee: XOX.
Get well soon.

dido on the kisses for your knee. Oxy is bad stuff to take a liking to - do what you can without it.

I'm also a medical professional so if you need any advice, call me ;))

Ps thanks for your sincere comment about working less. alot of people feel guilt instead of relief when they make such changes.

I can't take any of that stuff, so I wouldn't know.

I'm glad to hear the surgery went well, and I hope you recover quickly, because we have some drinks to drink.

It's a little known fact that most people do end up having knee surgery after meeting the Brazilian football team.

Hope you're back to your arse-kicking self very soon.

YIKES! I don't check in for a while and I've missed like a dozen posts? And you've had knee surgery? Jesus. where does the time go.

Hope you're up and about soon. Those drugs really are nasty, huh?

Maybe you can wean yourself off of them with some nice red wine and motrin?

Many thanks to all you well wishers! I am indeed on the mend. Surgical technology with respect to the knee and the amount of recovery time is truly amazing.

Ellie~ it's not the out of control floaty feeling that gets me down, it's the nauseaded anxious feeling. Ugh!

Dive and Rich~ totally buoyed through this whole experience with thoughts of you two kissing it better. It a far more civilized pain management approach.

Pru~ It's nice seeing you... hope to see more of you on the blogs... but eh... life gets busy sometimes.

Art~ Thanks for coming by. It looks like you've been an industrious boy lately. Glad you're finding time to drop posts in here and there.

Knudsen~ I'm actually a 300 pound bald biker covered in tattoos and need a new bra to wrangle my man-boobs in order. Surgery is the least of my worries.

Sassy~ I'm getting my game face on! I should be spoiling for a drink when we get the big rendezvous in line.

Ali~ I'm feeling spunky this Monday morning so the ass-kicking shall ensue proptly.

Andraste~ Thanks for looking in on my blog... Idle hands make for lots of posting.

Leigh~ Welcome to the gates. Thanks for dropping in! The gates are always open. ;)

Savannah Dahlin~ Your good vibes have such a sweet southern charm. Thanks!
